Police are looking for a man who allegedly exposed himself and masturbated in front of a young mother and her child aboard the D train this week.
The incident happened just before 11 a.m. yesterday on a northbound D train near 53rd Street and 7th Avenue in Manhattan. Cops say that the suspect exposed himself and started masturbating in front of the 21-year-old mom, who was holding her 6-month-old daughter. The mother and child moved to another location on the train, and the man followed them, trying to look up her skirt and making several comments about how beautiful the child was.
While they moved around the train, police noted "the suspect never stopped performing the lewd act."
The victim was able to take a photo of the man, which you can see above, before she got off the train. Cops describe him as a man in his 50's, 5'10" with gray hair and goatee.
Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
