Another weekend, another bonanza of wonky service changes that seek to make it impossible to get to your ex-boyfriend's niece's baby shower, oh no! The biggest news here is that the 1 train is suspended for significant track repair work all weekend, with shuttle buses making the rounds to-and-from some hard-to-reach stations:
For service between South Ferry and Chambers St, use free shuttle buses. Transfer between 23 trains and buses at Chambers St. 2 and 3 trains run local in both directions between Chambers St and 96 St, replacing 1 service.
· For service between 96 St and 168 St, use free shuttle buses or the AC at nearby stations.
· For service between 168 St and 191 St, use M3 or free shuttle buses. Or, use the A at nearby stations.
· For Dyckman St, use M100 (free shuttle buses overnight) to/from the Dyckman St A station. Transfer between 23 and A trains at 59 St-Columbus Circle.
· For 207 St, use the nearby A station, and transfer between 23 and A trains at 59 St-Columbus Circle.
· For service between 207 St and Van Cortlandt Park-242 St, take free shuttle buses. Transfer between buses and A trains at 207 St and between A and 23 trains at 59 St-Columbus Circle.
· 3 service operates between Chambers St and 148 St overnight.
