The police are searching for an alleged subway pervert in Brooklyn.
According to the NYPD, on August 10, at around 5:30 p.m., a 25-year-old woman was sleeping on a southbound N train, near the Atlantic Avenue/Pacific Street station, when a man started to touch her buttocks. Police say, "A witness to the incident woke the victim up and told her what had happened."
The suspect fled at Atlantic Avenue, but police were able to release this photograph of the suspect.
Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
And if you see a subway pervert in action, you can report it to a MTA worker or police officer at the station or file a report online—there's even a place for you to submit photos.
