A group of good Samaritans helped lift a car off of a hit-and-run victim in the Bronx on Friday.
According to CBS, witnesses say the 69-year-old victim was struck by a car as he was walking in the crosswalk at Boynton Avenue and Westchester Avenues around 11 a.m. The driver dragged him about a quarter of a mile down the block, leaving his clothes tattered and ripped. The driver then left the vehicle and fled on foot.
You can see video of seven people, including 73-year-old Orlando Urena, lifting the car off the man below.
The victim, whose name hasn't been released, was taken to Jacobi Medical Center in critical but stable condition. Cops say that the driver was still at large as of Saturday morning.
