A straphanger on the F train allegedly threatened fellow riders with a glass bottle, which he later smashed against a window. Police are now hoping the public can help them identify the man, who is wanted for menacing.

According to the NYPD, the incident occurred at 3:55 a.m., when the train was near Ditmas Avenue, in the 66th Precinct: A 25-year-old male and 27-year-old female victim got into a dispute with the suspect, who "threatened them with a glass bottle. The suspect then proceeded to smash the bottle into the conductor's window causing it to break."

No one was injured, and someone managed to get a very clear photograph of the suspect from another train car. The suspect is described as being about 5'10".

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call Crime stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
