A woman was attacked and raped at the Port Authority Bus Terminal yesterday, police say.
According to NYPD, at around 1 a.m., Friday, July 10, officers inside the bus terminal's parking garage at 625 8th Avenue "were informed by the victim a Female 21 years-of-age stating she was forced to perform sexual intercourse against her will, the suspect then physically assaulted the victim causing lacerations to her face and body."
The victim was treated at an area hospital and released.
Police released video of the suspect entering an elevator at the parking garage and describe him as being "30 years old, brown eyes, short braided hair, mustache, approximately 5'9' tall, weighing 190 pounds." He's also seen wearing a red, white and blue shirt with stripes and stars, as well as denim shorts and white sneakers. The Daily News notes how he's "examining his knuckles" in the elevator.
