Jon Stewart is about to take a two-week break, but he went out on a high note by focusing on his favorite professional clown: Donald Trump. And while Stewart got plenty of jokes in at Trump's expense, he saved his vitriol for Fox News and other outlets who seem to be defending (or making excuses for) Trump's bullshit statements about illegal immigration.

"It is hard to get mad at Donald Trump for saying stupid things, in the same way you don’t get mad at a monkey when he throws poop at you at the zoo," Stewart said. "It’s a monkey. It’s what they do. In some ways it’s on you for watching. What does get me angry is the ridiculous, disingenuous defending of the poop-throwing monkey." Watch it below.

Larry Wilmore also delighted in Trump's ridiculousness, and came up with the perfect campaign slogan for him—it just happened to be the same perfect campaign slogan that Stewart came up with as well. "Trump 2016: Somebody's Doing The Raping." He also begged Republican voters to keep Trump in the race: "You know, Republican voters, this one time - I’m not going to chastise you, I’m not going to ridicule you," Wilmore said. “You keep doing what you’re doing so I can keep doing what I’m doing."
