Yeah, your Monday morning probably sucked, because A) it's Monday and didn't we just do this like three days ago, how is there already another one and B) the heavens unleashed a big ol' bag of cloud mucus all over us, along with some powerful gusts that tore asunder dreams and umbrellas across the city.

But no matter how sodden your pants, no matter how wind-battered your hair—no one is having a worse day than this little guy, who was spotted stranded atop a fence in McCarren Park around 8 a.m. The tipster who sent the photo said she called 311, but the possum was "acting erratically and they couldn't do anything."

"Someone had put a stick near him to help him climb down but he was just shaking," she added grimly.

Monday—/ˈməndā,ˈməndē/ noun—"The inability to climb down from the fence because you are shaking too hard."
