City Center's Encores! Off-Center production of Little Shop of Horrors has its Seymour: Hollywood heartthrob Jake Gyllenhaal will play the hapless plant owner in the show. He'll be starring opposite Ellen Greene, who originated the role of Audrey in the original Off-Broadway and Broadway productions as well as film of the musical.
The rest of the cast was also announced: Tony winner Chuck Cooper is taking the role of Audrey II; Taran Killam will play Audrey's horrible dentist boyfriend, Orin Scrivello; and the Urchins, the Greek chorus/R&B girl group, is comprised ofTracy Nicole Chapman, Marva Hicks and Ramona Keller.

There will be three performances of Little Shop of Horrors: July 1 at 7:30 p.m. and July 2 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets prices start at $25 and can be purchased at the New York City Center Box Office (West 55th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues), via CityTix at 212-581-1212, or online at www.NYCityCenter.org.
