The fourth season of yell-happy comedian Billy Eichner's show, Billy On The Street, is set to premiere on Tru TV soon, so Eichner enlisted David Letterman to join him on the streets of lower Manhattan for his favorite pastime: yelling at bewildered New Yorkers. What is Paul Schaefer going to do after Letterman retires?! The Rock 'N Roll Hall Of Fame Ceremony is only once a year!
Billy On The Street with David Letterman from Funny Or Die
With the famously reticent Letterman in tow, the clip is filled with all the uncomfortable interactions one could hope for—the best of course being when Letterman tells one man in shorts he is planning on doing "a podcast about guys wearing shorts when it's too cold" after he retires. When will Bros learn?
Eichner also appeared on The Late Show last night, where he talked about working with Michelle Obama and Big Bird.
Also last night, Al Franken was on The Late Show encouraging Letterman to run for the U.S. Senate in his home state of Indiana.
