Now that our extremities won't freeze if we stay out after dark, we can entertain notions of late-night revelry, like the new Late Night at Gotham West Market, which debuted this week. The fantastic 11th Avenue venue begins an after-hours party for grownups, including special menu items from each of the food shops available 10 p.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays and 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. the other days of the week. Nosh on Chicken & Waffles with pepper butter from Genuine Roadside and a La Cemita torta from Choza Taqueria. There are also booze deals like half off select bottles of wine at El Colmado and a whiskey and hot dog bar coming to The Cannibal starting next week.

Annual meat free celebration NYC Vegetarian Food Festival returns for two days at Manhattan's Metropolitan Pavilion this weekend. On Saturday and Sunday, restaurants, retailers and other exhibitors promote a vegetable-based lifestyle with samplings and demonstrations; think of it as a healthier alternative to similar gorgefests throughout the year. Expect dairy-free ice cream from DF Mavens, seed and nut butters from Nuttzo and tasty Ethiopian from Bunna Cafe. Advance ticket sales are over but you can snag entry at the door for $40 per day (cash only).

On the flip side, it's also the weekend of Broth Fest, tapping the city's fascination with the brodo/bone broth movement. Greg Spielberg's Imagination in Space and FAME by Alex Mitow are bringing six NYC restaurants to the Seaport for a day of sipping tasty meat water. Caracas Arepa Bar, Katz's Deli and Baz Bagel and Restaurant are just a few of the names who'll be simmering up bones and such for a restorative sip on Saturday from noon until 7:30 p.m. Beers and music are also part of the deal for each hour and a half time slot. Tickets are $33.

Upper East Side newcomer Caffe dei Fiori launches their new brunch menu this weekend, including all the requisite Eggs Benedict and Pancakes options plus their signature Italian flavors whipped up in some unique options. Try the Sfogliatina con Asparagi e Funghi in Salsa Cremosa, a kind of lasagna-esque dish made with savory crepes layered with tomato sauce, mushrooms and prosciutto or a simple dish of Prosciutto and Burrata. The new brunch menu is available on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

On Sunday evenings from now on, Greenwich Village mainstay ACME will be offering Pot-Roasted Sundays, a throwback to the communal family meals of the old days. On the menu: Rustic Cauliflower Soup and a three hour-braised Pot-Roasted Pork Shank, plus an endive salad with toasted pecan dressing and a roasted root vegetable puree served on the side. Dinners cost $32 per person and must be ordered by at least two diners at each table.
