Jon Stewart did what he does best last night on The Daily Show: Bear stupefied witness to the never-ending corruption of his home state of New Jersey.

Stewart laid into Gov. Chris Christie for his terrible negotiating skills and Sen. Bob Menendez for his ongoing legal woes, and discovers there is no such thing as a quid pro coincidence. "Our politics are so sick, symptoms we used to readily identify as evidence of cut and dry corruption are now shrugged off as, 'Eh it's a fuzzy line, what are you gonna do?'" he said. "We're that chronically ill." And as he concludes the piece looking at corrupt lobbyists, he notes it's not just a Jersey thing—they just have perfected it there.

Stewart's anti-NJ political corruptness piece wasn't the only one centered around the tri-state area last night: correspondent Jordan Klepper checked in on Hurricane Sandy survivors who are still waiting for help rebuilding their homes. Check it out below.
