Jimmy Fallon is a lot of things: Internet-content creator, Bruce Springsteen aficionado, relentless dancer, bar fight escaper, etc. But one thing he most definitely is not: smooth (like the ocean under the moon). Watch below as Fallon learns in real time that he once blew a chance to date Nicole Kidman because he was too busy grunting and playing video games.

Fallon and Kidman have very different impressions of the meeting: "You're going to bring Nicole Kidman over to my apartment?" Fallon asked his friend who arranged the almost-date. "What do I do?" While Fallon was under the impression all these years that his cheese and crackers meet-up-whatever was no big deal, Kidman reveals she like-liked him at the time. Watch Fallon's face as he begins to process this information at 1:15; his brain cracks as he starts stammering "what what what" at 1:25; then at 1:45 his brain explodes.

"What are you talking about? Did I date Nicole Kidman?" he exclaims. You can see his goofy brain working overtime to imagine what could have been, as if Gwyneth Paltrow were jammed in a train door in his head. "So I go over and you're there in a baseball cap and nothing, and you wouldn't talk, you didn't say anything," Kidman recounts. "And then you put a video game on or something, and I was like, 'This is so bad.'" And there, at 2:25, is the moment Jimmy Fallon died.

RIP Jimmy Fallon. We hope it was a cool video game.
