The police are looking for the public's help in identifying the suspect in a bank robbery that took place yesterday in downtown Manhattan.
According to the NYPD, the suspect entered the Chase Bank at 130 2nd Avenue (you know, the former 2nd Avenue Deli location) yesterday at 2:34 p.m. "where he handed a bank teller a note claiming to have a gun and demanding money. The teller complied and the suspect fled the location with $1,080."
Here's the police description of the suspect: "white male (possibly albino), 5'10", mid to late 20s, light colored hair with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black and grey jacket, dark rimmed glasses, black sneakers with a red bandana around his neck."
Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
