It's been 10 years since Michelin turned its discerning eye to New York City restaurants, foisting upon them judgements in the form of highly-coveted stars. Today, the Guide announced its awards to the best of the best in NYC dining in advance of the Michelin Guide To New York City 2015, a collection of 874 local restaurants that goes on sale tomorrow.

There are some familiar faces planted at the top, like perennial favorites Eleven Madison Park, Le Bernadin and Per Se, though Daniel Boulud's eponymous eatery was downgraded from three stars to two this year. Also riding the three stars this year, Brooklyn's OG Michelin two-star awardee Chef's Table at Brooklyn Fare, which has been at the top since 2012.

Other Brooklyn notables include Blanca, which was awarded two stars this season; Luksus at Torst, Pok Pok Ny, Take Root and others were awarded a single star; plus stalwart Peter Luger also maintaining its single star. Casa Enrique, Danny Brown Wine Bar & Kitchen, Zabb Elee and newcomer M. Wells Steakhouse held it down for Queens for this year; better luck next year, Staten Island and The Bronx.
