Attention Macy's shoppers, there's a Shake Shack coming to Herald Square. Danny "Dolla Dolla Billz" Meyer has set his sights on a storefront at Broadway and 36th Street; according to the Post, the new 3,365-square-foot burger palace should open at 1333 Broadway sometime in fall of next year, ousting a Pronto Pizza and two electronics stores in the process.
This puts the new Shake Shack one block from Macy's and two from the zoo-like atmosphere where Broadway meets Sixth Avenue. The restaurant will be part of the revitalization of the shopping district, which has included the addition of pedestrian plazas and seating areas. We hear those car fumes will add a certain I-don't-know-what to your Smokeshack.
