Now that bathing suit season is mostly officially over, we've been given the all-clear to eat literally everything, including that delivery food that's been sitting in the fridge for a couple weeks. Go for it, you won't regret a thing! Of course, for those of us who don't want to contract botulism, there are a whole slew of food events ripe for the feasting this week. Take a look:

Tuesday is the mother of all food days, boasting not one, not two, but three delicious food events. At 6:30 p.m. and at 8:30 p.m., Chelsea Market oyster bar Cull & Pistol is hosting a multi-course Norwegian seafood meal with guest chef Fredrik Andersson. The $100 dinner features five courses, including smoked mackerel with caviar, slow-cooked Aurora salmon and braised Angus beef tongue—the seafood is all sourced from Norway, and the dinner also includes a beverage pairing. Make your reservation through the restaurant.

Also on Tuesday, Grand Banks, the seasonal oyster bar located on the historical F/V Sherman Zwicker schooner, is throwing a "AHOYsters" feast to benefit the Maritime Foundation & Billion Oyster Project
The $95 feast includes unlimited oysters and an open raw bar, plus there's an open alcoholic bar with cocktails by Finlandia Vodkia, Blue Point beer and Martin Codax Oyster wines. The feast runs from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., and you can find Grand Banks docked at Pier 25 in Hudson River Park; purchase your ticket online, and note that all ticket sales go to non-profit maritime conservation and education initiatives.

And also on Tuesday, Aquavit in Midtown is holding a collaborative dinner with Swedish chef Frida Ronge. The six-course tasting meal includes a beverage pairing and coffee, with dishes like venison tataki, halibut sashimi and grass-fed lamb on tap. Tickets are $200 a head, and can be purchased by calling the restaurant.

Head to Flatiron on Thursday for a massive food event at the Altman Building celebrating all things sake. Non-profit organization The Joy of Sake will showcase 370 different sakes for sampling, including many that can't be found outside of Japan. Plus, restaurants like Momofuku Ssäm Bar, wd-50, SushiSamba and 15 East will be providing small bites to soak up all that alcohol. The event runs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and tickets run $100-a-head; you can purchase your ticket online.

And last but not least, on Friday, Smorgasburg is headed to Central Park from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., complete with 30 food vendors, beer, wine, and tunes spun by Mister Saturday Night DJs Eamon Harkin and Justin Carter. As a bonus, Mile End is throwing a special Shabbos Dinner, complete with braised brisket, matzo ball soup, and babka. You can find all the food on the Rumsey Playfield, near 72nd Street and 5th Ave.
