These days most New York City-based festivals are hosted on Randall's Island, but this October 11th and 12th, Pier 9's Red Hook Container Terminal will become the newest festival stage. The Escape Music Fest will feature two days of music, food, and drinks at the waterfront location, and the organizers have just announced the daily lineups.

Moby will leave his beloved Los Angeles and headline Saturday night with a DJ set, that day will also include Placebo, Yeasayer, STRFKR (DJ Set), The Crystal Method, Ra Ra Riot, and more. On Sunday, Girl Talk headlines, with Mayer Hawthorne, The Joy Formidable, and others filling out the day.

Single day passes are $65, and two day passes are $109 (you must be 18+ to attend), and as far as getting there, ferry transportation will be provided from South Street Seaport, and there will also be an Uber pickup spot outside the festival grounds. Plus, there's always the trusty B61.
