The Burger Gods have spoken and descried that the city's next viral Frankenburger shall be the Rice Burger. A new shop called Yonekichi opening in August on East 9th Street will specialize in burger-style sandwiches with buns made out of packed rice patties, reports Bedford + Bowery. Does anybody remember bread?

"I can’t say for sure that it’ll be as crazy as the ramen burger," owner Sakura Yagi opines to the website. "We don’t want this to be just a craze; I think it’ll be something that people see as an alternative to regular burgers and a little bit healthier. The ramen burger isn’t necessarily that healthy." We'd argue the nutritional benefits of eating rice over noodles are negligible but we're sitting behind a desk, not manning the griddle.

The "buns" for the "burgers" will be made with rice patties that are first steamed then finished on the flattop until they achieve a "slight brown crisp." Inside, expect a variety of fillings from chicken meatball to lotus root to sukiyaki, consisting of beef and lettuce, all priced between $7 and $11.

The shop's expected to open around August 18th at 236 East Ninth Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues, operating until the bar hop-friendly hours of 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Here's a sneak peak at the menu:

Yone Burger Sukiyaki

Tsukune
-chicken meatball patty, shishito pepper, Tokyo scallion
Unagi

Kinpira

Mugi Fuji
-thinly-sliced premium pork shoulder, ginger soy sauce, cabbage

*Optional sunny-side egg recommended especially for Tsukune and Sukiyaki

-Plum kombu & sansho pepper
-Yuzu salt
-Wasabi salt
