The State Senate and Assembly dealt a blow this week to all New York men who think they're sexier while spooning with a predatory animal by passing a bill banning people from taking pictures with tigers while touching or hugging them. Yes, cuddling with a tiger in hopes of attracting women is a thing now, because the Internet is a truly terrible place.

The tiger photo-banning legislation as introduced by Manhattan Assemblywoman Linda Rosenthal, who says the increasingly more common practice of posing for photos with tigers to use on Tinder and OKCupid profiles (see: tinderguyswithtigers.tumblr.com) is too irritatingsmarmybizarre dangerous. If Governor Cuomo approves the bill, touching a tiger in-state could cost you up to $500 in fines.

Not that all animals will be prohibited from reeling in those right swipes. "They can still pose with bears and monkeys,” Rosenthal said of the tiger posers. “They just have to take big cats off their list." Online daters, take note, because a photo with this cute baby chimp will definitely get you laid.
