Comedian Tracy Morgan has been released from a New Jersey hospital, nearly two weeks after he was critically injured in a limo bus crash on the NJ Turnpike. He is now at a rehabilitation center, where a spokesperson says he will continue to undergo treatment and recovery for the next few weeks.

Morgan "still has a long way to go," according to publicist Lewis Kay. The crash, which occurred when a Wal-Mart truck driver plowed into Morgan's limo bus in the early hours of June 7th, killed Morgan's friend and fellow comedian, James McNair. It also seriously injured comedians Ardie Fuqua Jr and Harris Stanton, along with Morgan's assistant, Jeff Millea. Morgan suffered a broken leg, broken ribs and a broken nose, and was in intensive care at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.

Yesterday, the National Transportation Safety Board released a report declaring that the truck driver, Kevin Roper, had been driving 20 miles per hour above the speed limit at the time of the crash, traveling at 65 m.p.h. in a 45 m.p.h. zone. He had also logged about 13 and a half hours on the job that day, according to the report—commercial drivers are allowed to log a maximum of 14 hours per day. "The NTSB's preliminary findings in this case clearly show that truck drivers are pushing beyond the limits of the current hours of service rules," Teamsters Union General President James P. Hoffa said in a statement yesterday.

Roper, who allegedly hadn't slept for over 24 hours prior to the collision, pleaded not guilty to one count of death by auto and four counts of assault by auto.
