Now that we have the basics of the World Cup out of the way, here's comes the tough part. In a city full of bars showing the games, where do you go to watch the games? Perhaps you want a raucus soccer pub or a giant beer garden. Maybe you'd rather visit a nice restaurant or cocktail bar that has the games on. Or it could just be that you're looking for the places that will give you free drinks when a particular team scores.
Whatever you're looking for, you're in luck. We've put together the Gothamist 2014 World Cup Venue Guide. With 73 different bars, pubs, restaurants, and other unusual locations to take in the 2014 World Cup, there's something for everyone.
Know of a great spot to watch the World Cup we didn't include? Put it in the comments section below; we'll keep the map updated with new spots as we hear about them.
