Next time your roommate staggers home from Electric Zoo with a pair of rowdy tweaked out tweens visiting from Hull toting a bag of Ketamine, remember that it could be so much worse: A 52-year-old Philadelphia man claims he was held hostage by his four roommates for two days, during which time he was bound, beaten, and forcibly tattooed with racial slurs and obscene sexual images. If you're experiencing roommate troubles, this is probably a good article to print out and tape to the fridge.
The unidentified victim was allegedly attacked in his home on March 30th by housemates Corry Campbell, 20; Sandra Ng, 19; Jennifer Pratt, 29; and David Thomas, 27. They allegedly handcuffed him and tattooed the bottom half of his arms with nearly a dozen ethnic slurs and obscene images.
The victim was allegedly held captive in the basement for two days—his injuries included severely bruised and swollen hands and legs, eyes, ribs, and torso—and finally escaped on the morning of April 1st.
After reporting the ordeal to Philadelphia police, investigators raided the house and arrested the roommates from hell. They reportedly found 155 grams of marijuana, as well as a number of tattoo ink bottles and other tattoo paraphernalia. CBS Philly reports that they're charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Possessing An Instrument of Crime, Unlawful Restraint, Kidnapping, Theft, Robbery and Conspiracy.
The motive of these allegedly sadistic psychopaths remains a mystery, but judging by those mugshots we're guessing they're just a bunch of assholes.
