[UPDATE BELOW] Police officers reportedly got into an altercation with two teenage girls at a Downtown Brooklyn Chinese restaurant yesterday, with one cop allegedly shoving one 15-year-old through the restaurant's front window.

Authorities say the incident happened at around 3:30 p.m. yesterday at New China Star restaurant on Lawrence Street. According to Brooklyn News 12, about 20 teens were inside when cops came in and ordered everybody out, as per the owner's request. A 15-year-old student from Queens allegedly told cops she was waiting for her food and would not leave; witnesses told Brooklyn Paper cops then questioned her 16-year-old friend, throwing her to the ground and slamming her face on the floor.

When the 15-year-old tried to pull the cops off her friend, witnesses say she was tackled by officers; they allegedly tried to lead her out of the restaurant, but when she resisted, witnesses say cops ended up pushing her through the restaurant's front window; two cops went through the window as well.

A bystander caught the cops leading the girl out of the restaurant and into a car; in the video, the distraught teen reportedly screams, "Where’d my best friend go?" while a group of teens look on:

Post-arrest, witnesses say about 100 teens gathered on Jay Street, with at least two getting carted off by cops. "It was a mini-riot," one NYPD employee told the Brooklyn Paper.

The NYPD says they have no knowledge of this incident; News 12 reports that the two officers and 15-year-old who went through the window were treated for minor injuries at a local hospital.

Update 1:22 p.m.: According to a Brooklyn Paper update, the teen girls have both been charged with trespassing, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. They have allegedly admitted to refusing the cops’ initial orders and resisting arrest, according to a police source.
