At 7:30 p.m on Friday night, a 12-year-old, two 14-year-olds and a 17-year-old were injured when a gunman fired upon them on South 2nd Street and Roebling in Williamsburg. While the victims weren't very "cooperative," the police have now released surveillance photos of the suspect with more details.
According to the NYPD, the suspect fired "multiple times as he ran after a group of males running eastbound on South 2nd Street toward Havemeyer Street." A 17-year-old male, one of the 14-year-old males, and a 12-year-old male were all shot once in the leg; they were taken to Bellevue Hospital. The other 14-year-old male was also shot in the leg and taken to Kings County Hospital.

The suspect, who fled on Havemeyer, is described as being about 20 years old and wearing an orange or red sweater.
Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
