Last December, a NJ homeowner sued two real estate agents for allegedly having sex in his home—and also not selling the sex house. The pair, Robert Lindsay and Jeannemarie Phelan, are trying to countersue, but now a video of their alleged assignation is going to air on Inside Edition. Here's a clip:
The homeowners, Richard and Susan Weiner, claimed in a lawsuit that Lindsay made a duplicate of their home key for the liaisons and also "intentionally listed the house above market value to avoid Realtor traffic in the home while he and Phelan carried on their trysts." Susan Weiner spotted the pair on security cameras in the house one January 2012 and called police, who "found Lindsay pulling up his pants."
Lindsay and Phelan, in turn, are accusing the Weiners of extortion. Lindsay's lawsuit alleges that in December 2013, even though the Weiners were already suing him, "[Richard Weiner] forwarded defendant Lindsay a written communication advising that unless a settlement was reached on an immediate basis, the videos currently in his possession would be made available to the news, TV and Internet. He went on to say that there would be an opportunity to settle the matter privately, before the media gets hold of the information."
However, Weiner tells Inside Edition, "We didn’t ask them for a cent. We asked them for a meeting." He adds, "They used our home as a cheap motel." This preview of today's show (which airs at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday on Fox 5) shows more clips of the agents—including when they discover the camera—plus an outraged Weiner:
Phelan's lawyer is upset that the Weiners have gone so public with this incident. He told the Record, "She lost her job with Coldwell Banker, she had another job and she lost that as a result of this publicity. Her name has become trashed. She is a grandmother with three children. This is outrageous that they did this.… Her picture is in every tabloid from one end of the country to the other."
