When the going gets tough, the tough draw penises. That stream of logic was undoubtedly the only one rushing through the mind of one Manhattan-based real estate head (yep) when he busted into the Tribeca home of his ex-girlfriend to draw male genitalia on his own paintings.
41-year-old adult man Sean Ludwick was exceptionally displeased by the apparent infidelity of his former girlfriend, 40-year-old Lana Trevisan, whom he reportedly left his own wife and two kids to pursue. The affair seems to have ended badly, though, as court papers allege that Ludwick used his key to enter Trevisan's apartment the night of February 17, channeling his rage into the yellow penises he painted on his own artwork, which was still hung around the apartment, the Post reports.
"I just wanted to update the pieces,” Ludwick told the tabloid. “I augmented my work to reflect my emotions at that moment.” The Post does not detail the appearance of the paintings prior to the "augmentation," nor does Ludwick's Facebook page offer any boasting examples of his work. (Ludwick is, however, a member of the "Power of Now" group, which describes itself as a forum for "discussion and learning the methods of living in the present moment." The description does not say anything about penises.)
Ludwick also allegedly flung the remaining penis paint on the floor of Trevisan's home, as well as stabbed the words "Studio Art" into a set of stools. He concluded the rampage by emailing her colleagues at the Gansevoort Hotel Group, calling her a "harlot" and a "home wrecker."
Of course, after giving it some thought, Ludwick became a little embarrassed by his actions—he's not some monster incapable of remorse, after all. He followed up by doing what any grown man would do after drawing a fistful of penises throughout his ex-lover's home: He sent a text. “Sorry about the paint, I was a little drunk this weekend,” it read.
