The NYPD is searching for three men suspected of robbing a Brooklyn liquor store at gunpoint. They left the store with nearly $50,000 in alcohol, lotto tickets, cash and cell phones.
According to the NYPD, just after midnight on January 20, three men entered Willmohr Liquor and Wine store at 1162 Willmohr Street. They allegedly asked a 41-year-old store clerk if "they sold liquor," showed their silver firearms and then forced everyone in the store to lay on the ground. Then the suspect, police say, tied up the victims with duct tape, binding their hands, legs and mouths.
The suspects took $45,000 worth of liquor, $3,000 worth of New York Lotto tickets, $510 in cash, and two cellphones worth $1,100. Then the three suspects fled on foot. They are described as: A male in his 20s, 5'10", 160 pounds, wearing blue pants, a black hooded jacket, multi-colored sneakers and a black hat; a male in his 20s, 5'9", 160 pounds, wearing a black hooded jacket and jeans; and a male in his 20s, 5'10" and 160 pounds. Here's surveillance video from the store:
