Enough gorgeous old black & white still photographs from the late 1970s—it's time to take a trip to an early 1980s Astoria, Queens... where things were fast and in color. Meet the House of Speed, a street racing group that loudly took over some main drags in their neighborhood—on this message board, one person recalls they "had a short stint in Astoria for a hot NY minute."
Below, check out their street antics, and hear lots of engines revving... along with some classic '80s tunes on the radio, like Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time." The perfect emotional tearjerker to spin your wheels to.
