The sprawling Brooklyn Night Bazaar has something for just about everyone: a sea of unique, crafty vendors peddling their wares under convivial hanging lanterns; a tightly-curated selection of tasty food purveyors; a psychedelic putt-putt course; a heated tented beer garden; and a graffiti-covered table tennis room. There are even places to sit. And at the back end you'll find an intimate stage equipped with a deluxe sound system and groovy projections. The whole thing is a lot of stimulus, but there's no charge to get in, and beers sell for the reasonable price of $5. If mass consumerism is a poison, this could be the antidote.

On Saturday night, Gothamist curated the music, and Brooklyn's own So So Glos headlined with an exuberant set of soul-scorching punk. Here's a taste:

The lineup also featured the adorable upbeat pop vibes of The Darlings, the taut power rock of Palehound, and the virtuosic shredding of California X. Check out the photos to catch what you missed and/or remember what you blacked out on. Dude determined to crowdsurf when it's not high tide, we salute you.

The Brooklyn Night Bazaar continues every Friday and Saturday night for the conceivable future. Here's the lineup through the end of February; highlights include Bernie Worrel, Har Mar Superstar, and Pizza Underground:
