Authorities have arrested four individuals in connection with the fatal shooting of a Hoboken lawyer at a NJ mall on Sunday. The Star- Ledger reports, "Sources said the four were arrested at 1 a.m. Witnesses in Irvington said they saw dozens of police and other law enforcement personnel entering a home and taking out at least one suspect. The names, ages and addresses of those arrested were not immediately released." Update: The four face charges of murder, felony murder carjacking conspiracy and weapons possession. Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn Murray said she and other officials were "not here for a victory dance."

Dustin Friedland, 30, and his wife Jamie Schare Friedland were getting into their 2012 Range Rover, parked in a parking deck at the Mall at Short Hills, on Sunday night when he was confronted by two men. Friedland apparently struggled with the men before he was shot in the head. The carjackers then forced his wife out of the car and then drove away with the vehicle. Police later found the car abandoned in Newark. Friedland died hours later at a hospital and his funeral was held on Thursday.

WCBS 2 was present when a SWAT team entered a home where one suspect was—a battering ram was used: "The suspect turned his head when CBS 2’s Christine Sloan asked him if he had anything to say, but did not comment."

Essex County law enforcement are revealing more details this morning. Update: The Daily News reports the suspects are Hanif Thompson, 29; Karif Ford, 31; Basim Henry, 32; and Kevin Roberts, 33. Murray said, "We believe that the four arrived in one vehicle, a Suburban. Two left in the Suburban and two left in the Range Rover."

U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman noted, "We have an epidemic of carjackings here. You shouldn't have to worry that wherever you go, someone will put a gun to your head and take your car."
