A man was stabbed in the face outside John F. Kennedy airport yesterday afternoon allegedly during an argument with a fellow livery cab driver. His alleged assailant has since been arrested.

Authorities say the unnamed victim was in a parking lot outside JFK's Terminal 8 at around 4:30 p.m. yesterday, arguing with suspect Guang Zheng, 50. Officials say the two may have been arguing over a poached fare; Zheng allegedly slashed the victim in the face above his eye during the dispute. "Basically they was fighting for a fare and one of the guys had a knife or a cutter,” a witness told 1010 WINS.

The victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital in serious condition, though authorities say his injuries are not life threatening. Zheng, meanwhile, allegedly fled the scene in a bronze Acura; he was arrested last night at his home in Flushing, and is charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
