If you commute via Grand Central Terminal, you're in luck—and even if you don't, you can still swing by and check out the awesome holiday light show!

The 30-minute display, designed by Michiru Tanaka and the result of a partnership with Toshiba, will be Thanksgiving-themed through Thanksgiving and then become more holiday-focused towards Christmas. Metro-North President Howard Permut said, "As the home of Metro-North Railroad and a magnet to millions of people who visit during the holiday season, Grand Central is the perfect place to have New York's most exciting new seasonal light show. We are grateful to Toshiba for producing this gift to the city as a colorful end to our Centennial celebration in 2013."
