Cops say an 18-year-old woman is in critical condition after falling out of a cab window on East Houston Street near Lafayette Street Saturday morning—and they believe she was intoxicated at the time of the incident.
According to authorities, the unidentified woman may have been trying to get a cab at the time; she allegedly approached a number of cabs in the area around midnight, then climbed through one taxi window. When she was halfway through the window, the driver tried to drive off, knocking her out of the car and onto the street.
Cops say the woman is listed in critical condition in Bellevue hospital; authorities are currently trying to locate the taxi driver.
