Yesterday, a teenager was killed on Fulton Street in Brooklyn's Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood. Now police have released video of suspects fleeing the scene.
According to the NYPD, the police were called to the scene at 4:05 a.m., finding Kamau Chandler with two gunshot wounds in his head and one in his chest in front of 1198 Fulton Street. He was pronounced dead at Interfaith Hospital.
Police say that the victim and his friends were walking down the street "when they were approached from behind by the two suspects." They started arguing, and then one suspect shot Chandler.
Police describe the shooter as being in his 20s, thin with short hair and wearing an orange shirt with a dark stripe on it. The second suspect is described as being about 6'2" and wearing a navy blue cutoff hoodie. Here's video of the pair:
Anyone with information in regards to this homicide is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
