A bride-to-be and her best man are missing and presumed dead after a boat crash on the Hudson River last night, and four others including the groom are injured. [Update, 2:05 p.m.] A female body has been recovered.

Authorities say the six-passenger Stingray boat struck a barge near the Tappan Zee Bridge on their way from Piermont to Tarrytown at about 10:40 p.m. last night, and the Coast Guard spent nearly three hours searching for Lindsey Stewart, 30, and her best man, Mark Lennon. Stewart, a Piermont resident, is set to be married in two weeks; her fiance, Brian Bond, was knocked unconscious in the accident and reportedly suffered a fractured eye socket. Four other passengers were taken to nearby hospitals with both serious and minor injuries. "When they brought injured people back from the accident there was a man he had a neck brace; another man with a neck brace,” marina worker Anthony Apolito told CBS News. “One guy came off the boat and his face was completely drenched in blood

According the Coast Guard, both Lennon and Stewart were likely ejected from the Stingray, and are now presumed dead. "It's a recovery effort at this point," Daniel Goswick, assistant chief of the Piermont Fire Department, told the Daily News. And family members are bracing for the worst. "It can't end like this," Stewart's mother, Carol Stewart, told ABC News.

The boat reportedly struck a construction barge, which was being utilized in the construction of the new Tappan Zee Bridge. Authorities are continuing to search for the missing persons, and a source told the Post that they are investigating whether or not alcohol played a part in the crash.
