More details have emerged about yesterday's Patrick Stewart pizza picture, aka The Greatest Slice Story Of Our Time. The venerable Sir Stewart chatted with Daily Intelligencer about the experience and the sensational media storm that chronicled his lunch.

He also revealed several choice facts about his history with pizza—"I was actually in my twenties before I saw a pizza"—the reason behind yesterday's pizzeria visit—"my fiancée and I were a little hung-over"—and that he finds hundred-year-old eggs to be a "common" food.

Like the man himself, the whole interview is charming and funny and well worth the read. And hey Patrick, if you ever need a hangover buddy, give us a shout!
