After news that he was slapping together a staff for an actual mayoral run with staffers, Anthony Weiner's latest campaign move has been semi-exposed.

NBC New York spotted Weiner in front of his childhood home in Park Slope and reports that "he Democratic former congressman who resigned his seat two years ago amid a sexting scandal was wearing a shirt and tie and was seated on the steps next to his wife, Huma Abedin, as a camera crew and several other handlers looked on. The crew quickly packed up and left after they were spotted by NBC 4 New York Thursday."

Today, the NY Times reported that Weiner was having a hard time hiring experienced political operatives: "The Washington consulting firm that has advised him throughout much of his career, GMMB, has decided not to work with him in a mayoral race, according to people briefed on the matter. Several former Congressional aides, as well as outsiders whom Mr. Weiner has sought to recruit, have also turned him down."

He hired Danny Kedem, 30, as his campaign manager; according to Politico, "Kedem’s resume includes a handful of other congressional runs and mayoral races, as well as field organizing work on Hillary Clinton’s presidential run." The Times mentioned Kedem's name to Jonathan Prince, a former White House staffer working for mayoral candidate Bill Thompson, who said, "Never heard of him before."
