Remember that kid in high school who had a wallet made out of duct tape? Was that kid you? Are you still that kid, but don't want to admit it because you're 35 and that shit is embarrassing? Well, fine. Be embarrassed. Wallets cost like, $13 at Target and it's about time you pull your life together. But you should also know there's now a store—dedicated exclusively to the sale of duct tape—just for people like you.
Located at 1411 Broadway in Midtown, the store is a temporary pop-up from the brand "Duck Tape," which will certainly perpetuate the misguided idea that that's what the stuff is actually called. Photos reveal that the tape is available in a staggering array of prints, from the Steelers logo to multi-colored peace signs (haha, get it?)
According to the store's Facebook page, the tape mecca will only be open until April 28, so best stock up fast. But don't let the festive designs fool you: Even decorative heart duct tape can still cut off a loved one's circulation resulting in the amputation of their leg, so always be careful.
