In the very near future, we're all going to shed our earthly possessions and dignity and move into micro-apartments, possibly sooner rather than later. Get a head start on what will surely be all the rage among underweight agoraphobics by snatching up this gem of a closet in Williamsburg, yours for the low, low price of just $1350 per month.
An ad posted on Craigslist yesterday urges those "new to the neighborhood" to check out the 6-by-10 foot roomlet, likely because you would have to be new to the neighborhood, and Earth, to think that $1350 is a fair price to pay for a space into which you will barely fit, even if it is located on the highly desirable Berry Street at South 4th Street.
Wait, no, the ad clarifies, this space is not meant for living in. THAT WOULD BE SILLY. The nook is intended for use as storage, an extra hideaway for your "clothes, books, electronics, art, shoes, small furniture or whatever else you don't have room for." It goes on to ask, reasonably why you would "rent another apartment when you can take a quick walk, bike or subway to your storage space?" Why the hell did we even move into this 78-square-foot hallway in the first place? Why doesn't someone invent something cheaper?!
