[Update Below] Police have arrested a 21-year-old suspect in connection with the vicious attack against a woman at an F train station in Borough Park last month. The NYPD tells us charges are currently being drawn up against the suspect, whose identity hasn't been revealed yet. We'll update once we get more information about the suspect.
On Saturday, March 9, 2013, around 2:40 a.m., 55-year-old Dina Perez exited the southbound F at the 18th Avenue subway station and was assaulted by a man. The video shows him grabbing her and eventually slamming her against a wall, preventing her from leaving. He then threw her to the ground, kicking and stomping on her. "Why, why you hit me?," Perez told ABC she screamed at her attacker. "Why, why you hit me?"

The suspect stole the woman's purse and belongings; the victim suffered bruises and cuts. Perez added that the suspect didn't speak once during the attack. The suspect was seen wearing a black hoodie with "Alpha Phi Delta" on the front and "Stugotz" and the number 27 on the back.
Update: Police have now identified the suspect as 21-year-old Aidan Folan; he has been charged with robbery and assault in the second degree. Police added that they apprehended him after getting a tip from someone who recognized him from the video.
Folan's identity was first uncovered by a commenter on Gawker. According to his Facebook, Folan studied Broadcast Journalism at St. Francis College, and works as a counselor at the Center for Family Life in Sunset Park. There are prominent pictures of him wearing the hoodie which was seen on the surveillance tape of the attack; he also lists "Stugotz" next to his name.

According to court records, Folan was arrested on January 12, 2013 for "unlawful possession of Marihuana" (his next court appearance for that incident comes January 10, 2014).
