If Locked Up Abroad has taught us anything (and I think it has), it's that while your rectum is an excellent storage facility for a little bit of drugs, trouble will inevitably befall you if you push it too far.
The Daily News reported today that a newly admitted psych patient at Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx rather impressively smuggled a whopping 17 baggies of cocaine between his butt cheeks. Honestly, the patient probably would have gotten away with it had he not started screaming and carrying on, prompting hospital staff to tranquilize him. That's when he became a little too relaxed, because two of the bags flopped to the floor shortly thereafter. "Further inspection" revealed the remaining fifteen. (Nice work if you can get it!)
The patient will be toted down to the precinct as soon as he's "discharged" from the hospital. Note for would-be drug mules: There's a reason we have the Cocaine Diaper, you guys.
