When catsh*t crazy designer Karl Lagerfeld was named Diet Coke’s creative director and released his custom Diet Coke bottles we smiled. Because c'mon...Karl Lagerfeld. But that was back in 2011—he was followed by Jean Paul Gaultier at the "helm" in 2012, and now it is time for a new celebrity designer. But did it have to be Marc Jacobs? Isn't it enough he has half the shops in the West Village at this point? And did the 49-year-old fashion mogul have to kick off his stint by taking his clothes off? We know he's been very proud of his new body and all, but still...

Yep, after its politically interesting anti-obesity ad, the latest video from Coca-Cola offers a spin on the brand's "hunk" ads from the '90s—this time starring a man who turned "graffiti" on his flagship into $689 t-shirts. There is something pretty great about a group of ladies salivating over a very openly gay man, though:

In addition to the ad, Jacobs has had a hand in designing three custom cans that will appear starting in Europe next month, when more details about the soda's "Sparkling Together for 30 Years" campaign will be announced (Diet Coke first arrived in Europe 30 years ago). Meanwhile, just in case you had forgotten, just because it says "Diet" on the label does not mean diet soda is any good for you. A body like Jacobs' comes with a very expensive trainer, not nutrasweet.
