At least two people were shot in a park in Brooklyn this afternoon. According to police, the shooting occurred around 2 p.m. at Herbert Von King Park on Lafayette Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant; cops say that an 8-month old was shot in the left arm, and a male adult, possibly in his 30s, was shot in the hand. Both victims are in surgery now, and are expected to survive; they say one suspect is also in custody.

Our sources tell us that the two were a father and son, and weren't the intended targets. The Post is also reporting that they were father and son, and say they were involved in some sort of argument with the gunman. However, NY1 is reporting that a third child, a 5-year-old, was also shot. They add that the shooting occurred in the lobby of the Herbert Von King Park recreational center.

We'll update as we learn more information.
