An argument apparently escalated into a fatal shooting earlier this morning. The NYPD says that around 5 a.m., officers responded to shots fired inside the County House Diner at 887 Fulton Street in the Clinton Hill section of Brooklyn (right near Fort Greene). The victim, a 34-year-old man, was shot in the stomach and later pronounced dead at Brooklyn Hospital.
According to the Post, "Two men got into a dispute at the Country House Diner on Fulton Street before a gunman pulled out a small caliber weapon and shot the [victim]... It’s not clear what sparked the argument but it appears both men were customers, sources said."
A suspect was taken into custody, as was a woman who was in the diner.
