Lou Reed has done a lot of disturbing things over the course of career, from unleashing Metal Machine Music to collaborating with Metallica on the crankiest album of his career. But this clip from the documentary Thinking XXX has got to be up there—in the video below, Reed reads various taglines from pornographic movies and advertisements. Be warned: the sound is more NSFW than all the ding dongs on "Sister Ray"...and still way better than Lulu.
It was so random, it was only included as a bonus clip on the DVD. If you ever wanted to hear Reed cackle about extreme sexual stuff ("Smile, you're on fisty camera," "erect baboons"), here's your chance! And because the internet is a weird, wonderful place, someone combined Reed's vocals with a Metallica instrumental. Merry Christmas everybody!
