Police are looking for a man who raped a woman last Saturday morning. The crime occurred in the 94th Precinct, which covers Williamsburg and Greepoint.
According to police, the suspect followed a 23-year-old woman into her apartment building around 5:45 a.m. on November 17th and, as the NYPD press office puts it in their official statement, "forcibly raped her." Here's video of the suspect:
The suspect is described as a black male around 6' and 190 pounds. While the police did not specify where the rape occurred (out of concern for the victim), New York Shitty reports that it occurred on Kent Avenue, between North 4th and North 7th Streets. And, according to the Post, the victim did not know her attacker.
Anyone with information in regards to these incidents is asked to call Crime stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
