An elderly Brooklyn boutique owner was fatally shot yesterday, and police now believe that the suspect is the same one who killed two other Brooklyn store owners last summer. "Ballistic tests completed early this morning indicate that the gun used in the homicide of a 78-year-old merchant on Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn's 70th precinct yesterday was the same one used in similar shooting deaths on July 6 and August 2 in the 68th and 62nd precincts respectively," they say in a statement.

Vahidipour Rahmatollah, 78, was found with three gunshot wounds to the head and torso at She She Inc. in Flatbush around 7:20 p.m. Friday. He was shot behind the counter, then dragged about 10 feet toward the back of he store; the suspect had tossed clothing over his body. “He was a nice guy. He just ran his business,” Richard Vinson, who has lived next-door to She She for four years, told the News. “It's a shame. People have no regard for human life."

Back in August, 59-year-old father of four Isaac Kadare was found dead on the floor of Amazing 99 Cent Deals on 86th Street. Cops say the bullet that killed Kadare was from the same gun used to kill 65-year-old Mohammed Gebeli inside Valentino Fashion Inc. on Fifth Avenue in Bay Ridge on July 6. The addresses of those two shops are similar: Gebeli was killed at 7718 Fifth Avenue, and Kadare was killed at 1877 86th Street. Police were speculating at the time whether the killer migiht be obsessed with the numbers 1, 8 and 7.

As for the latest murder, She She Inc. is located at 834 Flatbush Avenue. Police are offering a $22K reward in each of the homicides for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible. Anyone with information about them may call the Crimestoppers hot line anonymously at 1-800-577 TIPS.
