Stephen Colbert dived into the soap opera that is the ongoing Petraeus scandal on last night's Colbert Report. Because what newsmaker wants to talk about the fiscal cliff when they can gossip about a steamy episode of General's Hospital: "This sex scandal is all anyone in Washington can talk about. I wonder why the country is in financial ruin?" Colbert cut to the heart of the most unbelievable aspect of the scandal: "Please. If our troops were really still fighting in Afghanistan, don't you think we'd be hearing about that on the news instead of this bullshit? Unbelievable."

Everyone's favorite Taiwanese animators, Next Media Animation, also got in on the fun, putting their stamp on the scandal. Watch below as FBI agents dive into computers, Paula Broadwell literally bounces off of Petraeus, and Obama reveals he is actually Dr. Evil.
