Guess who else had a post-Sandy subway commute today? Mayor Bloomberg! Lucky for him, he doesn't live along the L—he usually takes a SUV from his East 79th Street mansion townhouse to the subway—so he was able to take the 4 train.

Fellow straphanger Lillian Guidry, a civil engineer who works in the Financial District, tells us, "I rode with him down from Union Square to City Hall at 7:30am—he did not say anything to anyone, but his security guards were letting people get pretty close to him for photo ops. He was pretending to read the paper by the way, just trying to look like a normal commuter on the subway."
